gimpy mantid

this mantid has survived with all the cards stacked against it. 3rd molt she had lost almost all her legs, over the course of the next 4 molts she acquired her legs back, we had fed her with tweezers or injured insects. finally a normal mantid, her last molt was a bad one, thought she was dead but after pulling off her stuck skin i saw movement. she has survived for the last 3 months with only her front legs functioning properly, and her wings a twisted mess on her back. the other night she tried laying and egg case and became stuck i found her lying lifeless stuck to the hardened egg blob (she couldn't lay a proper case). I wetted the case down got her unstuck and gave her a drink. then took these pictures. again she has recovered doing as fine as she can.
